Macedonia is located in the southeastern Europe – Balkan, it is a continental land with hills and mountains. Although mainly land, Macedonia is located on a crossroad between two great pan-European transport corridors (no.8 and 10) that connect Central Europe with the Adriatic, Aegean and Black Sea.
Macedonia has a total area of 25.713km². Population: 2.046.177

41% of the total area belongs to agricultural land. Half of it is a fertile land.
Agriculture (including hunting, forestry and fishing) is the third biggest sector that forms the GDP – after services and industry. If we include the manufacturing industry as well, than the percentage rises up to 16%.
